Whitetail Creek Resort Guest Policies

For additional information for the use of the barrel saunas, fire pits, pavilion, or any other property amenity, please inquire in the office. Thank you!

Deposits:

  • All reservation deposits are non-refundable for any reason
  • Reservations canceled 72 hours prior to the check in date will not be charged the remaining amount due (after the deposit).
  • See WiFi information at the front desk, on door policy cards, and in the room information books.

Check in/out times:

  • Check-in: Motel Rooms/Cabins: Between 3:00 - 9:00pm
  • Check-in: Camping Accommodations (RV, Yurts, Camping Cabins): 3:00 - 8:00pm
  • Check out time for all accommodations: By 10:30am

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation or during the reservation will not qualify for refund.

Maximum Accommodation Capacity:

  • All accommodations have established occupancy capacity.
  • If it is found the maximum capacity for the room has been exceeded, the guest will have to purchase another accommodation.
  • In the event there isn’t another available accommodation, the guest will be charged the additional cost of an accommodation that would accommodate the extra guests or the reservation will be canceled with no refund.

Littering:

  • Littering (including sunflower seed shells, cigarette pouches, tobacco pouches) can result in cancellation of reservation without refund.

Pet Policy:

  • Whitetail Creek Resort is a “Pet Free'' property.
  • Guests with pets will be asked to leave without refund.
  • Pets are allowed for RV site guests only.
  • If you did not notify management when the reservation was made, please notify management.
  • All pets must be on a leash at all times.
  • Pets must be cleaned up after in all areas of the property or risk cancellation of reservation with no refund.

Service Animals (Dogs Only):

  • Certified Service Animals (1 per guest) are allowed in the accommodations by law.
  • Service Dogs can not be left in accommodations alone.
  • Fake Service Dogs are not tolerated.
  • In the event it is determined the Service Dog is not an actual service animal, the reservation will be terminated without refund.

Smoking Policy:

  • All accommodations are “smoke-free” (including tobacco, marijuana, vaping).
  • If it is discovered the guest is smoking in the accommodations, your reservation will be canceled without refund.
  • An additional night’s stay will be charged for any room smelling of smoke in order for the accommodation to cleared of smoke.

Charges for Damage:

  • Any damage incurring to an accommodation or any part of the property will result in charges to the guest’s credit card for the cost of the repair and/or replacement.
  • We document damages with the Lawrence County Sheriff's department in the event we need to prosecute to obtain funds for the cost of repairs and/or replacement.

Authorities:

  • If the authorities are called because of a guest for any reason, that guest will have to leave the premises without refund for their reservation.
