Whitetail Creek Resort is a great place to stay (with dining nearby) while hunting the Black Hills! Yes, we do have a deer hanger.
We have trail access for ATV/Snowmobiles off our property. We are located 1/2 mile from the Sugarloaf Trailhead on the Mickelson – beautiful this time of year for biking or hiking. We recently saw Mountain Lion tracks up there.
Terry Peak turn-off is 1 mile away and you can be at the main lodge within 10 minutes.
WCR is located at the base of trail 5W, the Black Hills Trail System offers over 300 miles of groomed trails and access to 1.2 million acres of the Black Hills National Forest, offering unlimited off-trail riding.

The Black Hills Trail System officially opens December 15th and closes March 30th. Trails are groomed daily, subject to adequate snow conditions. For more information on snowmobile trail conditions, call 1-800-445-3474.
